• Manage the workshop departments to achieve their objectives by establishing and monitoring the KPI’s indicators for each individual
• Improve the level of utilization in all workshop departments in order to reduce cost of production, down time, inventory, and slow moving inventory
• Plans, develops and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Confers with management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Directly supervises department of office employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

• Planned, organized, supervised and implemented manufacturing procedures in accordance with Quality Assurance methods, new process technologies, organizational strategies and quarterly/annual budgets.
• Formulating and maintaining performance, measuring Production and Quality Control (QC) objectives and improvement plans that conform to plant-wide goals; routine use of Quality and Production Metrics; root cause analysis and use of countermeasures to effectively address problem areas and issues; assisting Engineering Department with inspections, repair ideas, and troubleshooting; daily use of Continuous Improvement (CI) to support Lean Manufacturing; working with Maintenance on machine set-ups and Preventative Maintenance Programs (PMP).
• Co-ordinate the training of all departmental staff, thus ensuring that the necessary resources are available to meet production requirements.
• Supervisor in fast paced, high volume, Lean manufacturing plant with special emphasis on safety, value added sustainability and cost savings initiatives and objectives, reaching target within production and providing a quality product above and beyond customer standards
