• Check and authorizes the service providers function to ensure payments to service providers are made in accordance with company policy and objectives
• Follow up on debtors to ensure payments to the company are received in accordance with company policy and objectives
• Update the cash book daily, carry out bank reconciliations and follow up on bank queries,
• Production of debtors schedule quarterly
• Ensure that all accounting function is posted to pastel., that is payroll journals and other month end journals
• Prepare Trail balance
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Monitoring statutory obligations i.e. Zimra, NSSA, ZIMDEF payments
• Preparation of salaries, cash and claims
Its a professional course majoring in accounting , was also an accounts clerk before at the Medical aid society of central Africa .
