• Conducting financial analysis functions which includes:
o Revenue and expenses analysis for categories and segments
o Brand Profitability and Gross Margin Analysis for categories and segments

assisting in the preparation of Zain's business plan with more emphasis on Revenues & COS, in addition to monitoring, revising, & reporting on the business plan deviations.
Performing feasibility studies and profitability analysis for new services with aim of revenue enhancing and
cost saving using SAS Enterprise Guide.
Preparing annual budget/ forecasts with more emphasis on Revenues & COS. ·
Reviewing and providing with commercial reports requested on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly &
annual basis. Reviewing & conducting financial analysis for commercial concepts/sales campaigns &
pricing of new products/ services & provide with feedback for concerned party.
Planning and assessing all potential products financially to ensure the profitability of the products and
checking its status and market positioning as well as reviewing KPI after launch to ensure that goals are
met.
Providing management with post implementation analyses and evaluations regarding profitability of
shops, call centers, and any commercial product .
Collaborating with different entities regarding new services different pricing per channel and approving
them.
Reviewing, preparing and monitoring different costing modules
Reviewing and updating product and services commission schemes for different sales channels and
validating monthly employees' and non-employees' commissions
Conducting and reporting and analyses to support management's decision making process
Conducting AD HOC research, presentations and analysis to ensure that the best corporate decisions are

Supervise & participate in Preparing & managing Zain 5-Year Business Plan Model.
Actively lead and Participate in formulating and establishing the annual financial budgets & quarterly
forecasts.
Prepare ARPU per product analysis and prepare Product profitability analysis.
Provide Variances analysis from budget; identify added value reporting opportunities for trend analysis and
commentary to assist forecasting and budgeting requirements.
Assist with the audit preparation work to allow for timely completion of the annual financial statements
and corporation tax returns.
Evaluating commission schemes to determine its financial impact on the company's profitability.
Preparing Business Plan Model, including communicating with related parties and consolidating their
inputs to the model
Preparing budget and forecast annual tasks, (data gathering from departments, updating actual in
forecast models, any analysis required, cash flow statements…).
Estimating the upcoming revenue and pro-forma P&L for a month based on Monthly updated information.
Preparing & Participating in preparing periodical reporting to the management in Finance and some of

Cconducting “Budget - Variance - Review” (BVR) analysis on a monthly basis supported with
explanations and justifications

the operations.
Rendering financial advice to the management officials of different operations, to undertake proper
financial planning and decision-making.
Submitting budget reports to the higher management of the organization for further scrutiny and approval.
Responsible for cost benefit analysis, studying financial requests, and researching on alternative and
reasonable funding methods for the benefit of the organization.
Assist in periodic Sales, Labor, and Cost of Goods Sold related reporting and variance analysis.
Assist in month-end financial close process including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation for all
COGS and inventory related accounts.
Analysis of product cost estimates. and cost justification analysis for proposed capital expenditures.
Developing budget & cost controls mindset in the plant & Head Office.
Prepare and validate financial reporting for actual, budget and forecasts results.
Develop good control on plant costs and capital expenditures by establishing regular reporting and
follow-up.
Calculate VC & FC on monthly basis, Perform YTD analyses for cost items with technical parameters.
