Currently working as Senior site planner for Al Dabb’iya Surface Facilities, Phase III, of ADNOC Onshore. Responsible to lead a group of site planners for the pipelines portion of the project. Major scope includes:
Onshore pipelines (276 km)
Offshore pipelines (100 km)
Pigging facilities (68 pig traps).
Isolation valve stations (7 Nos)
Fiber optic / composite cables (372 km)
Responsible for:
Ensure proper implementation of project controls' requirements (schedules and reports).
Provide progress and performance data related to both cost and schedule (PMS).
Analyze WORKS data to forecast project cost and schedule completion.
Manage change across the WORKS.
Develop and monitor budgets.
Document the history of the WORKS execution and capture WORKS data and lessons learned for leveraging success in future projects.
Invoicing of sub-contractors.
Close interaction with Procurement department for the timely delivery of free issue materials.
Mainly three (3) sub-contracts were involved in the pipeline scope: Onshore pipelines, Offshore pipelines and shore approach works.
01OCT14 to 20JAN15 Lead Shutdown Planner
Worked as lead shutdown planner for ORYX GTL plant shutdown, in RAS LAFFAN, Qatar.
Leading a team of 3 planning engineers for the major shutdown (25DEC to 23JAN15) at ORYX GTL plant at RAS LAFFAN, Qatar. Responsible for the preparation detailed schedule with resource loading, support ORYX GTL planning team to merge Technip scope into the overall Shutdown plan, ensure that shutdown is progressing according to plan, ensure that perquisites are available (like PTW, MS, JHA, PQRs etc) for executing the job, mobilization of equipment as required, completion of pre-shutdown activities as planned, ensure that sub-contractors have enough qualified resources to meet schedule, submit daily reports and progress updates to Client according to the plan.
June’ 06 - 30SEP14 Senior project planner
Worked on projects for the installation and integration of New Oxy Reactor, installation of 3rd Incineration Unit, preparation of project plans for shutdown (Jan-15) in QVC plant. Major responsibilities include preparation of detailed schedules, preparation of monthly reports, review of schedules, reports from contractors, The major projects completed in the past are installation and commissioning of a new Boiler (85 TPH from Thermax India) and Demin plant, VPSA project (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption for oxygen generation by Linde), New fin fan cooler, General shut down’s (GSD-14, GSD-07), annual shutdowns . Responsible for the preparation and monitoring of detailed schedules, mobilizing resources (manpower and equipments) from local contractors.
Was also responsible for preparing project schedules in MS Project for Plant Maintenance Proposals (PMPs), especially for those projects identified for the major plant shutdown Ensured that all materials being delivered to the site in time. All consumables identified and procured. Maintaining procurement register for monitoring procurement activities for PMPs. Working on Computerised Maintenance Management System (Immpower) for monitoring job steps, process invoices, monitor the progress of procurement cycle (like RFQs, POs) and book materials in QVC stock.
Working in the Project Controls Department as Planning/Scheduling Engineer for Saudi ARAMCO and Non-Aramco projects. Responsibilities include prepare detailed project schedules for Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities using PRIMAVERA project planner. Monitor progress, man-hour and cost expenditure. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports. Prepare estimates for bids and proposals.
