Qatar Electricity & Water Company is country’s largest power producer with capacity of 2500 MW at single location having 23 nos of Gas turbines of different make.
•Myself was responsible for Operation of 11 nos of Gas turbines which includes 8 nos of Alstom 13E2 (164 MW each) and 3 nos of GE frame 9 FA (250 MW each). Isolation & normalization of electrical systems upto 11KV. Operation of 5 nos of Heat Recovery Steam Boilers each having 325 TPH capacity.
•operations and routine trials of Emergency DG sets.
•Fire & gas detection system operation, making daily reports
•To issue permit system as per safety compliances.
• Active in root Cause Analysis, Trip Analysis and Fault Diagnosis and recommendation of measures to solve the plant problems
> Optimizing operation as per energy conservation
•Handling Abnormal & Emergency operations, Start up & Shut Down of Power Plant Units

350 MW CCPP
Was Looking after the operation and controlling of 350 MW Power Plant & Utilities.
HRSG/BOILER: Having complete exposure in Operation & commissioning of 115 kg/cm2 Pressure and 512ºC Temp. and a capacity of 125 TPH Supplementary Fired HRSG & its Ancillaries through ADVANT ABB DCS.
Gas Turbine: Having complete exposure in Operation & commissioning of GE Design Frame-6 Gas Turbine.
Steam Turbine Generator: Having complete exposure in Operation & commissioning of Extraction cum Injection type Steam Turbine.(40MW *2)
Utilities: Having complete exposure in commissioning cum operation in Demineralised Water Treatment Plant, Reverse Osmosis based DM Plant, Raw Water Treatment Plant, Compressed Air System, Air Drying Units and Cooling Towers.
Balance of Plant:Having exposure in commissioning & operation in Boiler and Process Feed Pumps, Deaerators, PRDS (Pressure Reducing Desuperheating Station), Fuel gas skid, Liquid fuel skid and Boiler Feed Water Treatment
