As the Squadron Unit Movement Officer (UMO), deployed to Romania and ensured over 20 pieces of rolling stock, 24 general cargo containers, and 4 sensitive items containers were successfully deployed and redeployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Maintained accountability for over $35 Million dollars of equipment. Ensured that all equipment had the proper documentation attached, were secured and accounted for. Received formal classroom and on-the-job training to perform duties in areas of management, quality assurance and inspection. Developed a Squadron UMO Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Responsible for on-the-job training and mentoring of 10 Soldiers. Served as the Container Control Officer (CCO) who’s responsible for control, reporting, use, and maintenance of all Department of Defense-owned and controlled intermodal containers and equipment. Responsibility for containers from time received until dispatched. Also served as the AMMO-43 OIC, which provides the up-to-date requirements, techniques, and procedures for re-inspection of intermodal dry cargo containers.

Served as a System Administrator for all Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and Automated Logistical Programs. Maintained accountability of $1.2 Million of left behind equipment resulting in 100% accountability. Closed out over $275 K’s of the Squadron Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL). Were recognized as the top S-4 in the Regiment.

Supervised 10 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO’s) who ensured our platoon were properly prepared for the variety of missions and have been successful in resourcing training, ranges, and ammunition that have led to the completion of troop training objectives without incident.
Additional Duties: I was the Company Chemical Biological Radiation and Nuclear (CBRN)Officer from 2011-2014. Which I was responsible for training 350 Soldiers annual on the tactics, safety, and decontamination methods of CBRN.
