Establish and oversee the application of risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
•Provide risk management oversight and as part of IPB Wealth Management, APAC region, monitor and report client's portfolio.
•Administer the key risk management methodologies and calculations while monitoring and reporting Collateral Shortfall reports via early warning indicators, Limit Excess, and Exception Advance ratio (AR) on a daily and monthly basis.
•Assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes, as well as, conduct analysis and reporting of Risk by Products, Country Risk Reliance, Collateral Breakdown, and Watchlist & Impaired exposure monitoring and reporting as per IFRS9.
•Update in avaloq, clients (Lombard & Structured) limit, market/collateral value as per credit report for credit oficer's review.
•Participate in the definition and assessment of the risk management framework and ensure preparation of the Asia Portfolio deck every quarter for CRO, Risk Lending forum, and Regional and Sub-Regional Business Heads.
•Develop, compute, analyse, and regularly update stress-testing scenarios and administer the creation of stress-test scenarios, on ISINs collateralized in the client's portfolio based on market risk conditions.
•Coordinate with Pre-deal/Investment team to check on standard AR, assigned to asset class/ISINs, and as required mark down the AR with business justification in discussion with Credit Oficers and to inform RMs, IMs, and RCs on AR reduction thereon.
