Responsibility:
Demand Planning: * Responsible for managing, deriving long term and short term forecast for key customer at Item Location weekly level by using statistical methods, history and Market information with minimum forecast error with the help of Demand Planning team.
* Responsible for collaboration between Demand Planning and Sourcing team.
* Deriving, Plan and manage promotion and new product forecast based on history and Information.
* Analysis of sales trend and forecast error, bias to identify areas of opportunity for inventory optimization, consult same with logistics
* Update the MRP Data for newly identified parts on monthly basis.
* Categorization ( FMS, HIL, ABC, RIRS) of parts in a quarter as per last 12 month sales order data.
* Calculating Inventory Limits and Safety Stocks based on Categorization data with demand planning team.
* System Cleaning & Updating to ensure correct schedules to vendors through MRP.
* MRP Run & communicating schedules to procurement team.
Procurement: * Responsible for purchase of spares parts of automobiles (Utility Vehicles) and maintaining the inventory level in such a fashion there should be no loss of sales at any point of time.
* Settling pricing concerns. Solutions to vendor supply issues, capacity constraints, serviceability and interchangeability issues
* Constant interaction with suppliers keeping in minds both parties interest so as to arrive at win-win situation.
* Finalizing the commercial terms with suppliers, Identifying alternate suppliers & maintaining reliable supplier base for spare parts.
* Monitoring Vendor performance to ensure cost effective supply of quality material.
* Framing Purchase Policy for spare parts as per parts categorization and maintaining stock levels as per set norms.
