Run the operational business of Mono Ethylene Glycol “MEG” in Asia in terms of:-
1. Maximizing P&L
2. Marketing & Sales (pricing, volume allocations, cost of serving)
Working capital management (payment terms, inventory)
3. Asset management by chairing the Value Team in Asia manufacturing plant
4. Lead regional Sales & Operation Planning process in alignment with global S&OP
5. Responsible for Asia MEG annual local plan/budget and execution
6. Assure implementation of projects which are relevant to MEG in Asia

Upon the establishment of SABIC JV in China named (Sinopec SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co Ltd “SSTPC”). I worked in the Business Planning Department (the only Saudi national worked in this pure state-owned Chinese cultural company) My roles were as follows:-
1. Collect and clarify SABIC guidelines with respect to business planning & budgeting / Products’ Cost Structures and then lead teams and activities for implementations
2. Participate in the monthly business plans of JV products e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene, glycols, butadiene, phenol, acetone, pygas …etc.
3. Develop and prepare monthly financial management reports to SABIC
4. Prepare annual business planning presentation packages for internal and external needs
5. Coordinate business matters with partners with respect to Sales, Operations and ERP System
6. Participate and provide support to new projects
7. Develop studies and reports as requested by SABIC management
1- Worked in China Investment Department related to SABIC-Sinopec U$ 2.7 Billion Joint Venture in Tianjin, China
2-Captilized on language & culture knowledge to coordinate project negotiation activities with Chinese partner "Sinopec"
3-JV Marketing agreements & logistics negotiation member
1-Study Olefins "ethylene/propylene/butadiene/butene" products trends in the market
2-Allocate production within market to maximize profits
3-Make sales lifting plans
4-Share in managing the inventory, in making the right netbacks and in managing the database for products and markets
5-Assist in developing the marketing strategy and in developing the yearly marketing plans
6-Track and report marketing performance by country and regional markets
