▪ Oversee and monitor the preparation of annual budget of all Plants as well as ensure all Plants are working within the assigned budget to ensure that budget targets are met, revenue flows are maximized, and fixed costs are minimized. Policies and Procedures
▪ Direct the implementation of policies and procedures related to Operations Department to ensure all activities are accomplished efficiently and effectively. Operations Management
▪ Direct and oversee the operations of all Plants to ensure adherence to overall goals, strategies and established policies & procedures as well as ensure work priorities are adhered to targets, critical issues are resolved and risks are mitigated in a timely manner in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Plants.
▪ Direct all initiatives related to developing the production operations at all Plants which include quality enhancement, cost reduction, increasing operational efficiency along with production outcomes and resources utilization and ensure the implementation of the best practices while maintaining proper controls in relevant industries.
▪ Set the principles of Production Planning in order to implement sales plans and achieve balance between the production size and the budgeted demand size of the products according to the sales reports and depending on the forecasting method by utilizing historical and actual information of sales orders in the future forecasts.
▪ Ensure efficient logistics operations are implemented in liaison with Supply Chain department in order to improve the operational performance as well as to meet the business requirements in a timely manner.
▪ Oversee setting of the annual purchasing budget of all Plants, approve any pending major purchase requests, oversee all authorized expenses related to purchasing to ensure they are in-line with the set purchasing budget and ensure that all purchase orders are authorized and signed by the Factories Managers in a timely manner.
▪ Ensure the development and implementation of master schedule for all Plants’ Production and operational programs for better utilization of all resources and to achieve operational synergy as well as a well-balanced workload and production distribution while maintaining high quality management standards.
▪ Ensure that proper preventative and predictive maintenance plans are being developed by the Plant Managers and implemented at all Plants to allow efficient production as per business requirements while reducing costs related to maintenance.
▪ Oversee the quality control process to ensure products are meeting international quality standards and ensure that Quality Checks are conducted in an efficient and timely manner.
▪ Ensure that occupational health and safety standards and procedures are maintained at all plants and provide leadership and direction to ensure the thorough and consistent implementation of the Health and Safety Management System.
