I am looking after 2G/3G/LTE SRAN network as a Back Office Engineer for Ericsson & Huawei network. Handling the operation of BSC, RNC, BTS, NODEB, eNODEB, SIU as a 2nd level support.
Job Responsibility:
• Ensuring daily health check & maintenance of RAN nodes like BSC/EVO BSC/RNC/BTS/NodeB/Enodeb/SIU etc.
• Working on Ericsson EVO 8200 BSC/RNC, RBS 6000 2G/3G/LTE SRAN & SIU nodes for Ooredoo Kuwait Network operations & maintenance
• Executing the work orders, HUSI, new hardware/software cutover, hub migration activity etc. also supporting project team during execution of critical planned activities like frequency carving, SW/HW upgrades.
• Handling daily tickets/TT’s with resolution as per on call duties, generating HUSI for any planned activity
• Preparing & executing Data Transcript (DT) for BSC/RNC/BTS/Node-B/Enodeb/SIU as per requirements
• Done the 3G/LTE cell/IMSI trace for troubleshooting (UETR, CTR CELLTRACE, and UETRACE etc.)
• Done the 2G cell trace to troubleshooting the TCH & SDCCCH call drop issues
• Done the configuration changes on Huawei nodes LTE DBS 3900, BSC6900 GSM & UMTS, BTS 3900
• Rendering technical support during fault clearance to Field Engineer & Junior Engineers of BSS-RAN
• Performing Cell parameter changes in coordination with RF/ Optimization Team for cell sites
• Providing 2nd Line support for any critical issue regarding BSC/RNC/RBS/nodeb/enodeb/SIU
• Support provided for operation & rollout of IBS/SMALL CELL for indoor sites
• Performing O&M surveillance functions, OMC routines, BSC/RNC/Node-B/Enodeb/SIU SW upgrades, license installations and maintaining CP/AP/CV/C&D drives backups as per schedule
• Evaluating network performance statistical data & developing daily/monthly/yearly MIS reports
• Stellar role in managing alarms of all network elements (OSS), monitoring alarms using Ericsson OSS/WinFiol, deploying fault clearance procedures for Detected Alarms; escalating the case to Field engineers for remotely clearing Detected Alarms
• Done in-house GEM, EGEM magazine & EPB card replacement/expansion work in BSC/RNC
• Done the configuration of PCU and NSEI addition for GPRS and GB over IP.
• Supervising/Performing 2G/3G node migration, 2G/3G sites loading, AMOS/MOSHELL scripting, configuration changes at node-B & RNC level, BSC/RNC expansion (adding sub racks), EPB/GPB/SPB addition in BSC/RNC.
• Done the configuration changes in RAN nodes during SGSN/CS core node swapping

Job Responsibility: I was working as a BSS & RAN Engineer (2G+3G+Wifi) at Idea Cellular Ltd. for Ericsson network, Ahmedabad (Gujarat-India). Idea Cellular Ltd. is one of the leading telecommunication service providers which offer 2G, 3G & Wi-Fi services across India. I am responsible for Technical support with Installation, Commissioning, Integration as well as Operation, Maintenance / planning for Telecommunication mobile network (2G+3G+Wi-Fi) with quality initiatives. • Done the Ericsson BSCs (APZ 212 30/33/33C/55/60/60C APG 40/43), RNC EVO 8200 & 3820 operation, maintenance, integration, expansion & troubleshooting work
• Done the SW up gradation of BSC(CP/AP/BTS); IPA, OPA, Middleware, AGM Upgrades, LAN switch/NWIE upgrades as well as RNC, NodeB upgrades for ericsson system using OSS SMO tool
• Have profound knowledge on WCDMA and RAN interfaces with IUB, IUR, MUB, IU-Cs, IU-Ps etc. protocol.
• Done the CP and APG upgrades and updates.
• Good understanding of 2G RAN Radio and C7/SIGTRAN signaling, 2G/3G RAN system and RF KPIs.
• Have done the Gb/IP, Abis, A-int, A-ter interface configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of NWI-E/Switch configuration and troubleshooting.
