• Oversee contractor’s procurement mechanism: attend bid openings, review and comment on the contractor’s tender evaluations, and issue corresponding review reports
• Supervise QS work
• Review of unit rate breakdown and supporting documentation
• Review and verify contractor’s monthly payment certificate
• Prepare progress and review reports in Arabic and English for submission to the Client

• Administration of Subcontractors: invoicing and claims
• Preparation of manpower Budget and negotiation with client
• Invoicing of Manpower and all related items
• Submittal of pricing for new items and securing approval
• Claims: extension of time, material cost increase, coordination with all concerned departments: design, construction, procurement, planning.
• Follow up on contractual matters and correspondence.

• Jeddah Sanitary Drainage Networks Project (project value = 1.2 Billion SAR)
• Responsible for a team of 3 QS engineers
• Preparing and checking Payment Requests with all supporting documents, and following up for approval and revisions with the consultant and client (Saudi Ministry of Water and Electricity)
• Contractual Matters: revisions of BOQ, preparing contractual letters and replies to the client/consultant
• Close coordination with Procurement, Planning, Cost Control, and Design Depts.
• Coordinating with Subcontractors regarding executed works and corresponding due payments. Checking and approving subcontractors' payment request.
• Update of Project Quantities due to design and site changes
• Preparing cost estimations of new work items and submitting to the consultant for approval
• Preparation of claims for extension of time and additional cost for all works not included in initial project scope
• Project progress presentations for Ministry, consultant, executive committee: compilation of information from all departments and preparing presentations in line with the Project Management strategy

• Mechanical engineering design for Arabian Bemco Contracting Co. for industrial and power projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates: Substations, Power Plants (Gas Turbine) &Water Treatment Plants
(HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electric Overhead Traveling Cranes, Pumping Stations, Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, Water treatment…)
• Project management / technical control / value engineering / coordination with Client, contractor, vendors and sub-contractors
• Construction Site Coordination with subcontractors and other trades: electrical, civil, fire fighting…
• Preparing ERP’s, evaluating quotations, vendor follow-up and pricing of mechanical systems for tendering purposes
