DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Manage technical aspects of field and/or office based survey projects in close liaison with Operations Manager.
 Develop and implement project required procedures in order to professionally and efficiently conduct a survey project.
 Develop, implement, maintain and apply a quality control system that guarantees the highest achievable standard of
services stringent to timescale and budget requirements.
 Coordinate all site activities from pre-contract to final delivery and supervise the work of several field survey crews.
 Play a pro-active role in establishing new business relationships and maintain a close working relationship with clients.
 Provide technical advice and input and allocate technical expertise to answer or solve survey related questions or
problems within the division.
 Preparation of task plans for Survey Engineering team and field surveyors when required.
 Provide assistance and support in the development of tenders, proposals and quotations and conduct site visits in a pretender
or post-award stage.
 Participate in contract required, technical or project related meetings, internally and externally.
 Production of drawings in GIS format using Arc GIS by building the database and converting AutoCAD drawings to
feature classes in addition to applying the same on all municipality utilities shape files.
 Design, observing, processing & adjustment of the GPS static control network using LEICA Geo Office.
Volume Computations and Grading of the surface using CIVIL 3D.
 CAD production and final drawings of land and marine surveys.
 Provide consultancies to improve the working practices using new technologies and maintenance of the company’s job systems.
 Evaluate performance of crew and use Appraisal and Competence Scheme as required

Survey Engineer at Orascom Road Construction

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Extract all data from the Road Design Drawings using profiles and cross sections, coordinate them with road programs
(Land Desktop or Civil 3d) and hand them over to surveyors to be ready for execution.
 Upload data for group of surveyors on total stations and give them sheets of the Road levels.
 Prepare Bill of Quantities BOQs for the contractors using Land Desktop or Civil 3D after compilation of all Data detected by
the Surveyors Observation.
 Provide input on the technical approach to project tasks to ensure that they meet objectives of clients.
 Monitor those critical survey activities being performed and ensure that work is performed efficiently
 Perform periodic QA/QC review of the project work
 Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports about all work done.
