Handling Corporate IT Asset Management Software
- Installed new & rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
- Installation, configuration & management of mail server (MS Exchange Server)
- Assists users with the configuration, and on-going usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
- Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems
- Installation & configuration of firewall & antivirus
- Respond to user requests for service and determine nature and extent of support needed. Provide support or refer to the appropriate staff member.
- Installation & maintenance of servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and operational requirements.
- Perform daily system monitoring, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted departments.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary
- Handling Network Infrastructure, File management, etc using windows Active Directory
- Installation, configuration & management of mail server (Mdaemon)
