For the past years I have been working with Drake and Scull Engineering one of the biggest companies in construction and MEP field for different countries between UAE, Saudi Araibia and Algeria. My duties and responsibilities can be summarized as per the following points:
1. Reviewing package scope to confirm that all required details covered under the package sent to supplier (Vendor list, specification &drawings).
2. Floating enquiry to suppliers with complete technical and commercial details.
3.Tracking offers to assure receiving all the quotation as per the plan for Technical submittal date.
4. Comparing technical & commercial offers and preparing required comparison.
5. Reviewing material submittal schedule and splitting due submittals in the beginning of each month.
6. Negotiation with suppliers to get best price which complying with
technical requirements.
7. Review the prices against the budget and prepare budget uplift
8. Issuing letter of Intent for the selected supplier.
9. Supervising the supplier to submit complete technical submittal.
10. Reviewing submittal before sending the same to site to be sure 11. Covering consultant comments for code "B”, “C” & “D”.
12. Preparation of supply agreement and Sub-contract agreement.
13. Issuing PO after receiving site MR.
14. Supporting site team for any problems with suppliers during delivery period.
15. Monitoring Budget for items which were finalized.
16. Prepare cost to complete sheet to monitoring the status for the finalized items against the budget
17. Update the list of exempted material for clearance process ANDI.
18. Coordinate with DGE to obtain the exemption of TVA for all required material for site.
