• Developed country-level reporting for SCB's covered markets (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia,
Libya, Egypt and Kuwait - macroeconomic level) as well as individual country strategies to assess financial performance and alignment with wholesale banking strategy for the market. The
strategy was used as a framework to conduct business in non-presence countries as well as assess the macro-economic performance and the different risks which could impact our portfolio of customers.
• Worked with regional management to identify non-presence country prospects based on a self- developed methodology incorporating macroeconomic conditions, bank offerings on the ground,
cumulative capital flow in the country, and other measures; potential target revenue identified for year 1 approximately $10mil across 1 new country and 2 new corporate relationships.
• Strong communication skills developed through interactions with different stakeholders within and outside the bank.
• Helped drive localized sales agenda for North African target names and proposed solutions for various implementation challenges including regulatory issues; analysis helped to yield
incremental $10mil in potential revenues and identified significant regulatory challenges and potential workaround solutions.
• Managed SCB's strategic non-presence countries portfolio (North Africa and Kuwait) from 2009
to present with combined revenues in excess of USD 28M and a CAGR of 87% over 2 years.
• Developed a multi-product sales strategy, offering traditional flow-based banking transactions along with complex investment banking offerings; moved average product count per relationship from 0.85 to 1.85 (indicating significant increase in cross-product sales)
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills by performing financial analysis for different types of industries in the framework of the credit process, including running comps and credit grade
analyses. These analyses were used as a basis to develop comprehensive business case for future
growth prospects, product sales and solution development as well as have preliminary
discussions with the product partners and the credit committee.

 Developed solutions for large Algerian corporate names with the help of the different product teams in London (mainly Infrastructure and Export Finance team). I have worked on different structures of project financings either a mix between local and international banks or 100% local financing; with a combination of a portion covered by an ECA and a clean portion. This resulted in a couple of deal were we have been selected as mandated lead arranger.
 Advised large international players on setting up a presence in Algeria by providing market analysis, advice on the local FX regulation, capital injection and dividend repatriation.
 Performed financial analysis for different types of industries as part of the credit process. These analyses were used as a basis to develop comprehensive business case for future growth prospects, product sales and solution development as well as have preliminary discussions with the product partners and the credit committee.
 Strong knowledge of various Official Agency programs such as Coface, EKF, EKN, and OPIC as I have worked on various credit agency programs in the framework of the project financing deals.
