Responsible for:
-ensuring legitimacy of claims / accuracy of calculations(e.g refund calculations) and where necessary, obtaining clarifications / authorities from concerned departments / stations.
-timely processing payments at station.
-ensuring proper accounting. i.e making sure that correct account / payee / department / location codes are being used and expenses are within budgetary limits.
-performing monthly bank account reconciliation.
-monthly financial reporting to head office with regard to above functions.
