Responsibilities:
As the Human Resources Coordinator for Aspire Katara Hospitality, I provide operational support to managers and team leaders. AKH has a workforce of 600 colleagues in Qatar aside from the overseas outlets that have been opened recently.
Key Achievements:
• Streamline recruitment and selection process along with onboarding
• Identify and project managed a review of the business unit managing restaurants, which include an evaluation of unit structure, job roles, functions and systems
• Review and implement new induction processes, gaining buy-in from the leadership team and resulting in increased retention rates
• Continually assess effectiveness of training programs and produce reports on key data and staff performance
• Streamline the job responsibilities for staff accommodation
• Streamline the process for government relation and assist in provision of Commercial Registration of the outlets along with their Trade License
• Assist Human Resources Manager in preparation of HR Strategic Planning
• Assist Human Resources Manager to draft SOPs & LSOPs to ensure proper and adequate execution of tasks
• Ensure that all company policies and regulations are disseminated to all business unit managers and ensure compliance
• Develop a strong employee retention program and strategy to keep the employees’ moral high and thrive
Responsibilities:
I had responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day coordination, administration and operation of staff accommodation of Emaar Hospitality Group and its processes at International City Location.
Key Achievements:
• Part of pre-opening and grand opening of the Address Dubai Mall
• Employee of the month for the consistent efforts to deliver outstanding services to our associates at staff accommodation
• Contribute into the cost-cutting program of the company by fixing the broken bed with the assistance of the maintenance crew
• In charge of employee relation and social activities
• Successfully managed to move-out 1200 associates within time frame from one location to another
• Constantly coming up with suggestion and innovative ideas to solve day-to-day problem and cost-cutting on unwanted expenses
