ASSISTANT MANAGER ACCOUNTS
Responsible for managing accounts and reporting thereon for distribution channels located in various cities.
• Coordinating and supervising divisional accountants and branch managers
• Development of business processes for efficient operations and reporting in accounts and finance function
• Communication of progress of monthly / quarterly initiates to stakeholders
• Preparation and provision of input and output sales tax / VAT reports for filing of monthly sales tax/ VAT return
• Receivables and payables management
• Preparation of monthly accounts, analysis thereof and presentation to management
• Supervision of periodic audit of divisions in realm of accounts, inventory, market credit and operations
• Forecast and track key account metrics
Primarily responsible for developing analysis from financial and non-financial information with a view to assist in management decision making. Analysis includes, but is not limited to;
• Analyzing cost structure of products, highlighting the variables involved and computing contribution viability
• Recommending pricing options based upon varying recipes and cost structures
• Endorsing discount viability on products
• Formulating projections for sales and contribution margin, preparing gap analysis and advising appropriate control measures
• Organizing financial information, sale targets, procurement goals and seasonal peaks and troughs into projected cash flows for future cash flow and financial planning
• Preparing business model that envisages the business processes and assumptions and manipulating them to develop projected scenarios
• Developing differing scenario analysis for launch of special seasonal projects
• Finalizing of Input / Output VAT data for VAT return filing as well as its reconciliation with Return.
• Assisting Manager Accounts in preparation of monthly accounts
• Supervised evolvement of assurance engagements and reporting there on
• Managed teams, work scheduling and planning and follow up with clients
• Reporting directly to Partner on engagement planning, progress and finalization
