• Study of tender documents & drawings, technical support to estimation department, attending the bidding conferences, supervise the preparation & finalizing of bids.

• Organize the kick-off meetings, weekly meetings for technical coordination with all trade contractors, clients & consultants.
• Establish the works schedule in coordination with all trade contractors to get consultant’s approval.
• Supervise the cost control & payment schedules.
• Coordinate with the Procurement department to establish long lead items, qualify the vendors & establish the material specification & project technical requirements.
• Coordinate with site management team for Quality assurance & Quality control.
• Monitor the project progress, establish remedial action plans to maintain the project progress & cost control with projects division management.

Managed successfully the construction of AJMC Membrane Factory Phase 02 & 03, which got completed in May 2014. Also made the feasibility study, design drawings development through engineering consultant & selection of contractors & vendors for phase 04 project but unfortunately project has got postponed due to low economic situation in KSA.

Responsibilities include:
• Detail scope of work, conduct feasibility studies, evaluate vendors, get quotations as per commercial & technical requirements of project, seek approval of contracts to ensure smooth operations & minimize risks or liabilities on company.
• Arrange kick-off meetings with contractors or vendors explaining the project requirements, local authorities’ guidelines, health & safety issues, etc.
• Design management to ensure timely delivery and correct designs for time/quality/cost control.
Liaise with the concerned local authorities to obtain the necessary approvals for the commencement of the Project.
• Planning / scheduling of various activities for the timely completion of milestones within project with reference to baseline schedule agreed with the company management.
• Propose Mobilization Plan, develop Project Organization charts, Project Schedule & prepare 15/30 day “look ahead” program.
• Periodical Monitoring and Review of projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects as also ensure desired Quality is achieved.
• Day to day management & coordination of all activities & among specialized contractors & vendors, each discipline progress control & reporting to management.
• Follow up with consultants / contractors; Review Designs, Shop Drawings, Material / Sub-contractors Submittal and approval, timely submission of clarification if found any variance with drawings & actual site conditions.
• Coordinating with design and construction team from initial concept design through construction completion.
• Coordinate for timely delivery of client supplied items or specialist technicians or so.
• Facilitating Value Engineering exercise & Design optimization.
• Conduct testing & commissioning by contractors or special vendors, review contractor's As Built Drawings, O & M manuals submittals & receive project handing over by issuing preliminary handing over certificates.
