Principles Accountabilities
 Conduct training need analyses to develop an effective training plan. Utilize resources i.e. experienced associates, subject matter experts, external trainers etc., to create value to the content of the training.

 Organize training plan for various needs which include functional training for new shift associates, cross-training of experienced shift associates, validation, qualification and re-qualification of specific skills, new process introduction, process improvement, problem solving and sharing learning.

 Measure and monitor performance indicators e.g. RFT, A-grade, micro-results, TRS etc. Link and review the KPIs to check on the need for training and the effectiveness of the training conducted.

 Lead and guide shift associates to improve awareness by conducting trainings on the SOP, GMPs, safety regulations etc.

 Conduct on-the-job training to improve and standardize technical skills e.g. changeover, preventive maintenance and trouble-shooting.

 Evaluate shift associates' technical skills with Production Shift Team Leader. Identify the skills gap and incorporate into associates' development plan. Co-ordinate with the Team Leaders on the execution of various trainings in the training programs to ensure full participations by the shift associates.

 Impart technical expertise to the new joiners and arrange for any additional support from other experts if required for their initial development.

 Collect post-training feedback to make the training more effective as part of the continuous improvement to the training program and its conduct.

 Interact closely and regularly with assigned mentors and the production Shift Team Leaders to discuss the progress of shift associates under training in order to give sufficient support at the early stage.

 Prepare technical assessment package for interviews and panels for new joiners as well as existing associates.. See less
