•Generating technical sales proposals and contracts (Statement of Work, Services Proposals).
•Researching options and requesting quotes for outsourced components of projects or custom products.
•Attending and/or participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
•Answering phone calls in conjunction with other staff
•Responding to Client/agent queries - costing to be checked by Accounts department or the Operations Manager.
•Checking that the rates provided are within historic rates and competitive when compared to other suppliers/agents/airlines always having a comparison and providing clients with options
•Coordination and communication with various organisations concerned eg. Airlines, Agents, Ministries, Suppliers etc.
•Update job registers and invoice registers as you go along and review weekly Job cards to be prepared for all jobs and all correspondence to be filed in respective job folders
•Keep the client informed with shipment details
•Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services.
•Developing support material for other members of the sales team
•Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
•Sell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use, such as material handling equipment, numerical-control machinery, and computer systems.
•Diagnose problems with installed equipment.
•Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.
•Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
* Provides technical sales support of In vitro fertilization IVF products to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of established
organization products.
•Discusses products at a technical level with scientists, engineers and physicians and conceive its application in research and education laboratories.
•Supports unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities.
•Typical pre-sales activities include gaining understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's system and product needs.
•Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
•Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
