• Oversee the accounting department to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the department and its related chores.
• Financial reporting in accordance with the local laws & regulatory requirements and finalization & presentation of Consolidated Financial Statements on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis for the Group of companies.
• Preparation of periodic budgets, forecasting and variance analysis versus actual results.
• Monitoring the working capital cycle on a day-to-day, weekly and monthly basis.
• Development of financial management mechanisms that minimize the financial risks.
• Providing several monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad hoc reports to Fazaa Group (Ministry of Interior)
• Management and other related companies in the Group (Fazaa Group MOI UAE)
• Liaising and co-coordinating with external stakeholders including auditors, solicitors, bankers and governmental authorities.
• To support conduct of year-end statutory audit and ensure its timely completion.
• Prepare Feasibility Study Reports and various Business Plans for new projects.
• Preparation of budgets and several management ad hoc reports containing variance analysis, sensitivity and other analysis.
• Supervision of Sales reporting, Receivables Management and Credit Control function.
• Supervision of accounts payable and allocation of corporate expenses to group cos.
• Monitor payroll and HR functions for smooth functioning as per WPS requirements.
• Establishment of sufficient and adequate internal controls over the accounting cycles and finance related functions. Further this includes development of internal control policies in consultations with the top-tier group management.
• Setting strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs, better cash management and identifying any investment opportunities.
• Coordinate with ERP consultants for developing new software Oracle Financials and PMS and various reports.
• GL reconsideration, payroll reconciliation, Bank and Cash Reconciliation and Variance analysis of Projects actual and estimated cost.
• VAT finalization and filing of returns timely.
• Assist Management for various reports and tasks.
• Review and organize Human resource and administrative matters.
