Develop cost estimates for tenders, after studying the tenders & bids and after collecting price quotations.
▪ Review draft tender documents and prepare commercial & technical bid proposal documentation to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included.
▪ Prepare reports & supporting documents to submit to the proposer to identify areas requiring more information to ensure that the Company is positioned to win & secure bids.
▪ Interpret & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specifications. If there are non-conformities, give suggestions for preventing these non-conformities.
▪ Review & generate the bill of quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials, types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
▪ Interpret & follow company tendering processes & procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards. If non-standard items are used in the tenders, collect and document price quotations from suppliers.
▪ Prepare specifications documents to submit to vendors for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment and evaluate the same against tender specifications to include in the final tender documentation. Prepare the final price quotation and submit it to the Head of the department for approval.
▪ Build relationships and liaise with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage daily correspondences for quantities, costs & specifications.
▪ Study the scope of work as mentioned in tendering documents.
▪ Prepare tender documentation queries to Consultants/Clients to confirm & collect any missing data including shipping costs, insurance, and any other regional requirements.
▪ Confirm that the tender submission complies with all local and international regulations, whenever applicable.
▪ Keep all quality records about the tenders & bids.
Supervise the activities of the sales team including marketing activities.
▪ Assist the line manager in recruiting, training, enumerating, and retaining a competent sales team.
▪ Provide reports to top management like sales reports, lead generation reports, customer complaints reports, and new customers’ on-boarded reports.
▪ Prepare sales presentations and other sales tools.
▪ Assist the line managers to ensure adequate client communication, maintain contacts with clients and provide feedback
Implement ISO 9001:2015 quality management system (QMS).
▪ Develop new production strategies to avoid wastage.
▪ Implement 3D simulation of the industry to rearrange and effectively exploit operations space.
▪ Monitor work progress to ensure that deadlines are met and that quality standards are upheld.
▪ Train new employees on company policies and procedures, including safety measures and ethics policies.
▪ Conduct regular audits of production lines or departments to ensure compliance with company standards and prepare non-conformity reports (NCRs).
▪ Manage projects involving a team of employees working on specific tasks towards common goals.
▪ Review employee performance to determine whether they are meeting standards or making improvements needed to meet standards.
▪ Provide guidance and support to employees in their work teams to ensure that they are performing their jobs effectively.
▪ Evaluate potential hazards in the workplace and recommend solutions to unsafe conditions.
▪ Monitor and report on employee productivity to ensure that goals are being met
Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
▪ Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
▪ Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
▪ Monitor production to resolve issues.
▪ Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.).
▪ Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
▪ Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
▪ Ensure output meets quality standards.
▪ Enforce health and safety precautions.
▪ Report to upper management.
