Responsible For:
• Preparing maps and drawings: Using surveying equipment and software to
create detailed maps and drawings of the site that can be used by others later.
• Conducting field survey: This involves measuring and mapping the site to
determine its boundaries, topography elevation, and other physical features.
• Collaborating with team members: Work closely with site engineers,
supervisors and other professionals to ensure that the project is completed
successfully.
• Lay out the positions for new curbstones and light poles, also ensuring they
are levelled and aligned correctly according to design plans, verifying that the
poles are placed vertically and at the correct heights and intervals.
• Set out the precise locations where structural steel elements will be placed,
and check the placement and alignment of anchor bolts.
• GIS works such as using ArcGIS Pro in gathering and managing spatial data
related to properties, including boundaries, land use, zoning and topography
in demolition projects, and that will help compensators to determine property
values.
• Calculate volumes for materials after excavation works using Autodesk Civil
3D.
Responsible For:
• Carry out QC/QA for the survey data to ensure all survey works are executed
successfully with high quality and meet the client's requirements.
• Analyzing spatial data to model property boundaries and related features, using
ArcGIS Pro also to visualize relationships, patterns, and trends that are relevant to
property deeds.
• Integrating collected data with existing GIS databases. This involves ensuring that
new data aligns accurately with previously mapped areas.
• Using ArcGIS Pro to analyze property boundaries and resolve discrepancies or
conflicts, and identifying overlaps, gaps, or inconsistencies in boundary
description, helping to clarify property ownership and resolve legal disputes.
• Communicate with clients and understand their particular requirements for each
project.
• Draw and prepare the map in AutoCAD from as-built data with all details about the
property.
