Responsible for : - Devising and implementing strategies to improve Distribution, Allocation Accuracy, Volume Growth and Waste. - Identifying Market opportunities to increase Daily Drop Load and - Increase invoice sales value - Rolling Out Sales Engagement Programs - Identifying and inculcating the best practices across the region, through field Coaching and Constant communication with the team - Providing leadership to fresh food buying unit as to ensure the achievement of benchmark, including budgetary (Sales, Profit, Inventory and Shrink) within the Fresh Food business unit. - Ensure the achievement of Sales Budget, Gross Profit Budget, Sales Mix Budget, and stock/inventory budget, recovery and wastage benchmark. - Develop, implement and maintain category management processes to achieve the determined strategy. - Monitor trends within the market segments and develop strategies to ensure market share of Fresh Food category is growing in a positive manner. - Ensure the achievement of Fresh Food merchandising benchmarks in the specific stores format. - Develop, implement and monitor new product innovation opportunities, promotional strategies and festive programs through effective communication of the promotional details to appropriate members. - Maintain close collaboration with the Operation Team to ensure the needs of customers are met effectively and efficiently. - Develop a high-performance team by coaching and acting as a resource and provide appropriate support to other team members. - Create and implement a personal development plan and long term succession planning for self and team members. - Participate in the development of specific projects to increase efficiencies and reduce costs for the company.

Distribute the fridges to all down trade shops to maintain the market share. Displaying all company products near to market leaders. Control sales wastage. Increase the Dairy items sales in local restaurants to gain more market share. Install fridges in all (local food restaurants).
- KPI & Achievements in the business live: - Increase the localization % from 40% to 90% at Merchandising department during 2010/2017 - New Fridges installation: Installed around 500 new open fridges in the region at the best locations. - Created some new ideas through my team by giving them freedom to think out of the box. - As an objective of growing and developing staff, I resulted in promoting 5 employees to Managerial level and more than 20 employees to Supervision level in different departments.
