Tendering and bidding
- Breakdown and cost analysis for materials, equipment and manpower
- Estimation
Technical office, procurement and site works
- Review tenders documents BOQ’s, specifications and drawing
- Validating the documents due to projects requirements
- Make the required design calculations and drawing
- Preparing and improving the necessary design for every portion of the electrical
and control works with the given specifications Medium voltage and low voltage substations-transformers-generators-low voltage distribution panels-motor control centers (MCC panels)-local control panels-SCADA systems, HMI equipment (h/w & s/w) -external &internal lighting system - fire alarm systems-cables calculations-layouts-routing-instruments (flow meters- motorized valves-ultrasonic level meters...).
- Prepare shop drawing, and submittals for approvals preparing and follows up approvals for project submittals.
- Preparing Contract Agreements and variation.
- Analyzing the cost effect for alternative proposals.
- Preparing any alternative suitable material submittals.
- Make the material lists and prepare the RFQ’s(request for quotations )to get the
offers from suppliers
- Responsible for supplier’s coordination, Validating the offers from suppliers
technical wise
- Negotiating the suppliers and get the best prices and make the necessary
contract terms, payment and delivery terms
- Preparing and editing the contracts with the suppliers and finishing the supplying after
approving
- Review the manufacturing drawing and delivery schedules
- Performing the factory acceptance testing (FAT)for the materials before delivery
- Handling the delivery, offloading and storage for the materials
- Materials Receipt
- Preparing the installation schedules, requirements, manpower, equipment and
accessories
- Supervising the installation procedures
- Performing the site acceptance tests (SAT)
- Hands over
