Review technical submissions and design layouts as well as material submittals from contractors.
Manage, Review, and create the QS of all technical items.
Supervise and review the preparation of construction method statements with construction personnel.
Evaluate supplier/subcontractor bids for compliance to internal & client specifications and scopes of work.
Supervise the Civil Engineering team to provide the technical support to Regional Engineering Teams.

Prepare the construction method statements and risk assessments, and develop work methods and temporary works necessary for your area.
Develop the job safety analysis.
Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers received from the subcontractors, and follow up of the subcontracted works, including the payment applications.
Prepare work requisition for all required permanent materials, and prepare material submittals and follow-up of the approval process.
Follow-up on the deliveries and invoicing of these permanent materials.
Reviewing and adjusting shop drawings.
Select and/or source construction materials.
Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.
Review and approve of all submitted materials by the contractor.
Ensure compliance of used materials with the project’s specifications.
Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval.
Lead in the preparation of variation orders.
Review, negotiate and prepare claims.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
Carry out cost management including forecasting.
Produce& review Shop Drawings for the design drawings.
Preparing & updating projects’ BOQs and calculating quantities.
Reviewing structure & MEP drawings and technical coordination between all disciplines.
Reviewing all shop drawings received from contractors.
Creating any required construction details.
Responding to RFIs and site queries.
Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers & client representatives as needed.
Active link between technical office and construction site workforce.
Supervision of compliance with contractual agreements, quality standards and work regulations
Overseeing building work.
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
Supervising contracted staff.
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
Overseeing and managing the site labor force and sub-contractors.
Liaising with sub-contractors.
Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
Track availability of material and ensure adequate stock.
Follow up on materials production with the suppliers and their arrival dates to the site.
Coordinate the work activities between civil and structural steel work in the site.
