Responsibilities
• Manage various projects for development of full-fledged web applications to meet the University’s needs including admissions and alumni services from mapping of client needs to delivery of fully-functional web application.
• Study complex business requirements, analyze and map stakeholder needs and prepare comprehensive technical documents facilitating translation of needs to successful project outcomes.
• Lead advanced web development for various standalone web applications using .NET MVC and ASP.NET Web supported by client-side development along with development of e-services using Windows Workflow Foundation.
• Deal with development tasks including integrated web applications with Oracle and SQL database servers using tools like Entity Framework and Dapper, development of SOAP and REST web services for a wide range of web applications as well as integration with internal and governmental web services like Nafath.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web applications adhering to industry best practices whist meeting project specific requirements using CSS and HTML
• Support effective decision making by providing valuable insights through development of interactive dashboards utilizing powerful data visualization and analysis tools
• Publish and manage applications hosted on Windows Servers through Internet Information Service (IIS)
• Monitor application security, identify and investigate breaches, assess risks and root causes and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Contribute to quality assurance by promoting code quality, implementing performance optimization strategies, incorporating security requirements in in web development projects.
• Plan and execute all activities related to web application development ensuring optimum resource utilization to achieve on time within budget deliveries
