• Implements structured GBV prevention activities, including conducting outreach, organizing sessions, implementing sessions and ensuring safe identification and referral of GBV and other protection cases to appropriate services.
• Ensures DRC has effective referral pathways to high quality survivor centered GBV Case Management, and other services, as needed.
• Coordinates closely with the MEAL team in the monitoring of, and learning from, project activities.
• Supports in the development of GBV awareness and prevention materials.
• Ensures protection principles are mainstreamed throughout the project activities.
• Assists the Protection Team Leader/protection specialist in administrative matters related to GBV activities Assists the Protection Team Leader/protection specialist in the timely reporting of project activities, including ensuring all activities are accurately documented on DRC Jordan’s IM database.
• Coordinates closely with relevant GBV partners to facilitate cross-programming and ensure timely access to referral pathways.
• Any other duties, as directed by the Protection Team Leader/protection specialist.
• Planning and implementing psychosocial support activates inside and outside of the SANAD, in a participatory manner.
• Planning and facilitating psychosocial support group activities.
• Developing well-structured plans for all psychosocial activities (psycho-educational, empowerment, recreational etc.)
• Conducting intakes and post-session assessments for all PSS’s beneficiaries.
• Conducting community mobilization to beneficiaries for PSS’s activities.
• Data entry and analysis of gathered information.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports on the achieved progress, while reaching to targeted beneficiaries.
• In coordination with the PSS, prepare order requests to use funds for psychosocial support activities in line with DRC policies and procedures.
• Ensuring protection is mainstreamed in all PSS activities and that all activities are compliant with DRC’s policies, standard operating procedures (e.g
• Child Safeguarding Policy, Incentive Based Volunteer recruitment) and accountability principles Attend trainings related to line of work
• Coordinating with several units such as; logistics, and the finance department to allocate necessary expenses, keeping up with the vehicles tracking, providing gifts required for carrying out certain activities.
• Planning and developing the Ideas Box activities presented for youth and children as well as developing an action plan for the box’s activities
• Facilitating filmmaking workshops designed for youth Preparing weekly and monthly report to the line manager
• Facilitating community mobilization targeting youth and children for the PSS’s activities Data entry of beneficiaries’ information onto Gamma system
• Supporting other departments with ideas box’s tools which might be needed Editing short films for the PSS department and others in Nuzha and Azraq camp Referring cases in need to the Protection Department
• Participating in developing the SOP for ideas box’s Koombook
• Collecting and putting together pictures for PSS activities and uploading them on google drive Creating a purchase list for the ideas box activities.
• Introducing the DRC’s community center (Sanad) to the beneficiaries and inform them with the services provided by the center
• Data entry for all departments, on Gamma system
