Ibrahim Rashed Almesmari

I'm currently studying Computational Systems at Zayed University, and honestly it's been a great experience so far. I've gotten to work on some really interesting projects with big companies like PwC and Al-Futtaim through our university's partner challenges. The PwC project was probably my favorite because I got to lead the team in developing this air purification concept inspired by mangrove trees, which was pretty cool combining nature and tech like that. With Al-Futtaim, we analyzed visitor patterns at their malls and came up with strategies to get more tourists engaged, which taught me a lot about using data to solve real business problems. I've also been working on building up my skills through different online courses in cybersecurity, critical thinking, and productivity, because I think continuous learning is important. My EMSAT English score was 1775, which I'm proud of since being bilingual is a big advantage in the UAE job market. What I really enjoy is taking complicated problems and finding creative ways to solve them, especially when it involves working with a team and presenting ideas to actual stakeholders.
