Responsible for the management of operations, maintenance and customer service that support the core business of an organization. Manage and oversees the manufacturing strategy, the day to day operations of the facility, ensuring the Performance are in line with defined objectives for the plant, and managing and utilizing the resources of the plant.
Working with the COO and Finance Team to establish the yearly budget for the plant
Ensure the achievements of KPI’s are permanently in line with both quality, health, safety and Environment objectives of the company.
Ensure the achievement of output, efficiency quality targets, and cost in order to keep them in line with budgets.
Thru monthly and annual performance analysis, the plant’s achievements are ensured that it is in line with the monthly/yearly budget.
Investigate and monitor performance and process, identify the gaps and taking needed actions to close any identified gaps, by implement corrective and preventive measures.
Maintain favorable working relationships with employees through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness
Coordinate with maintenance and Rolling Mill Manager the production line, mainly with respect to planning, costing and logistics and all other activities required to ensure on-time delivery and 100% customer satisfaction.
• As MR, I ensure that the Safety and Quality system defined in our IMS-Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007) are understood and strictly implemented in all areas of the facility System to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the business process.
Identify initiatives and process improvements to minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the process through application of trouble shooting techniques
• Participate and implementation of some improvement methodologies (lean and 5S) that deliver sustainable and better results
Oversees the activities of quality control section and LAB activities: for raw materials, steel plant and rolling mill operations and production in Solb Steel Company, ensuring production output adheres by the standards and expectations of SSC management and customers.
Established internal policies, procedures, work instructions and forms for QA/QC department.
One of the team member whom successfully organized in achieving the certification for ISO 9001:2008 /ISO 9001:2015, and the latter integrate the system with OHSAS 18001:2007.
Conducts regular internal audit
Certified internal auditor (Quality & Safety) with seminars and trainings.
Act as the organization’s Management Representative that has the necessary authority to execute such responsibility
Assigned with the task of establishing, managing, maintaining the IMS-Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007) of the company
Ensures the effective implementation of IMS
Ensures that the product passed the adopted national and international standard of the company.
Took part in the commissioning stage of the plant specifically the QC Laboratory installation (Spectrometer, X-Ray, C S analyzer and Universal testing machine).
Power user in SAP for QM Module
Helps in reviewing customer complaints on product quality and assess implications on existing quality control standards and processes.
Deals with complaints, queries and needs of interested parties and, when necessary, develop new grade (such as BS and ASTM) to increase the market segment of our products
Company representative when a customer complain arises.
Sent to other countries for inspection of major raw materials from new/old suppliers.
Represents the organization in technical agendas whenever visitors came to inspect the production lines.
Responsible in other activities in laboratory operations.
Ensure availability of equipment and consumables .calibration and maintenance required for the QA/QC Dept. equipment’s.
Coordinates all necessary communication, instructions and agreements related to the department.
