Responsibilities Included:
1)Control & monitor the operation of water pumping stations
2)Control & monitor Production capacities, reservoir storages, network pressure & flow control, and tank level changes, Ensuring the System Security of the Water network and managing of pressurized Ring Mains in case of forced outage of Desalination units or in case of transmission pipe breakdown etc.
3)Planning, Scheduling & Dispatching of all available Desalination units in the system while satisfying actual demand, considering marginal variation in the forecasted demand with minimum production cost and considering water production requirements and network restrictions
4)Optimize the system operation plan to meet the predicted water demands with declared availability and review costs of running desalination units to ensure they remain within set parameters for economic dispatch.
5)Prepare Energy Saving plans & Ensure economic operation of pump groups and transmission lines in order to supply water to consumers with minimum possible cost and high efficiency.
6)Prepare and review water related procedures, plans & reports such as: water operational procedures, water emergency plan, monthly reports, incident reports, water network performance reports, distillers' performance reports…etc.
7)Follow up commissioning of new water transmission network equipment.
8)Prepare alternative water supply sources in case of emergency and major maintenance activities in production & transmission sides.

1- Supervising maintenance & installation of: - Water Transmission Centrifugal Pumps (in large Water Pumping Stations), Air Compressors, Air Conditioning Units, Ventilation Systems, Hydraulic Couplings, Piping, Valves, Fire Fighting Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Chlorination Systems, Sump Pumps, Diesel Generators & Over Head Cranes.
2- Planning & scheduling preventive, predictive & periodical maintenance activities and shutdowns.
3- Estimating of maintenance and downtimes costs.

Duties included:
A) Maintenance of: - Steam Turbines, Chemical Pumps, Centrifugal Water Pumps, Dosing Pumps, Split Case Fire Fighting Pumps, Piston, Centrifugal & Screw Air Compressors, Liquid Ring Chlorine Compressors, Freon Compressors, Chillers, Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Valves, Steam Boilers, Chlorine Cylinders, Agitators, Diesel Generators, Piping, Filter Presses & Over Head Cranes.
B) Planning & scheduling preventive, predictive & periodical maintenance activities and shutdowns.
C) Piping Engineer: Design & selection of proper material for pipes for different fluids & flow rates.
D) Estimating maintenance and downtimes costs.
E) Arranging faxes, inquires & purchase orders to local & foreign companies.

In Charge of:
1-Maintenance of:- Furnaces, Hydraulic Presses, Air Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Hydraulic Pumps, Production Lines, Chillers, Freon Compressors, Diesel Generators Bucket Elevators & Mills.
2- Planning & scheduling preventive, predictive & periodical maintenance activities and shutdowns.
3- Estimating maintenance and downtimes costs.
