I had several plans & visions for my future in mind that turned into reality in August 2011 when I launched my independent company and left my full time job. Until today, Clever Service has generated a bit over 30 local clients, and well over a 100 global ones.

The majority of the projects were Web related, however there's also been a significant amount of projects that involved Mobile/Desktop App Development, Online Marketing & Social Media Management.

Tewtel Group of Companies is one of the leading players in the Automotive Industry in Lebanon. Member companies form together the exclusive importers & distributors of Land Rover, Aston Martin, Ford, Lincoln and Honda vehicles in Lebanon.

Achievements & Responsibilities:

► Developed the main company's website.
► Ensured all employees are connected to the company's network in 4 separate branches.
► Assisted IT Manager to monitor & troubleshoot company's servers in all branches.
► Monitored & Troubleshooted the Web Server (Blade Server).
► Developed several internal applications for the company including a cloud collaboration program (similar to "Asana" & "Basecamp" but on a smaller scale).
► Troubleshooted & Solved issues with the company's sales & after sales programs.

I spent a few months at Wunderman where I was in charge of updating Microsoft's official websites in the MENA region, with on-going discussions and meetings at Microsoft headquarters in Beirut & Dubai.

Main responsibilities:

► Managed Microsoft's main websites in the MENA region.
► Created/executed small projects, programming plans and schedules.
► Assisted in developing business and marketing strategies for the websites.

Despite the fact that I have worked as a Freelancer for 3 years before joining Active Web, it was the first company I ever joined and the first professional environment I participated in.

I started as a Trainee for a very short period of time. In just 2 weeks I got promoted to a full time job as a programmer where I started to gain real professional experience. I have switched between full & part-time at Active Web depending on my college schedule during that time.

I am so grateful to every day I spent at Active Web because these were the days where I gained my love to everything related to the web and software development.

Achievements:

► Built a Voting System for Sagesse University on their Miss Sagesse event which has been featured on a local TV channel (LBCI).
► Improved the E-Commerce System that was initially built by Active Web with more additions/features.
► Integrated third party features into the E-Commerce System such as: SMS & Payment Gateways by local providers.
► Developed several websites for various clients.
► Built Database Architecture for several systems.
► Worked for the first time on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) where I applied everything I learned to the company's website.

Up until this day, I still communicate with my previous managers at Active Web. When I left Active Web it was a small company with few employees, and now it is among the leading Web Design companies in Lebanon. I'm so glad to see the continuous achievements of Active Web, and feel extremely happy that I was part of these achievements & success.
