Objective
Turkey Country Office has requested support to fix technical issues with locally developed solutions MIS/MEDs,
TECD GST will support fixing the issues and ensure that business teams are operating properly with both applications.
The primary objective of this assignment is to address and resolve the identified defects in the application. The
developer is expected to analyze, debug, and implement necessary fixes to ensure the proper functioning and
stability of the application. Fix defects shared by TUR Programme \[MIS\], Fix vulnerability issues shared by TECI
\[MIS/MEDS\], Implement Code review comments shared by TECD \[MIS/MEDs\]
• Provide support in the planning, specification, and design of applications, websites and/or Database Applications
• Assist in development of Mobile data collection solutions.
• Guide, train and supervise staff maintaining inventory of material and/or database of information, such as, compute related equipment, communications equipment, website content, training material, etc;
• Guide, train and supervise staff maintaining logs or archives of information, such as computer related logs, trouble tickets, directories, website publications, registries, data warehouses, reports, etc;
• Deploy and/or disseminate standard material, such as, computer hardware and/or software, applications, programs, directories, telephony, web content, publications, database content, training material, etc;
• Maintain systems and equipment by carrying out specialized tasks and supervising staff carrying out routine tasks, such as backing up data, monitoring network and systems, servers and peripherals, running systems diagnostics, patch management and system optimization, removing viruses and bad data, etc;
• Monitor systems, databases and applications;
• Resolve a variety of problems and/or assist in resolution of problems by identifying and forwarding issues to the appropriate person;
• Maintain web pages, electronic documents, statistical databases; maintain Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) applications and procedures and provide support to IKM users;
• Train and support users of technology and systems, such as audio/videoconferences, meetings, databases, registries, networks, etc;
• Evaluate, develop, and recommend procedures. Participates in discussions one new/revised procedures and practices; interprets and assesses the impact of changes and makes recommendations on follow up actions;

• Updating the beneficiary verification process to enhance data integrity and consistency.
• Updating the communication process between the CFM team, CBT Team, and CPs using an automated system and clear communication channels using the new automated platform for the beneficiary verification process.
• Added new models to the beneficiary’s database to ensure data quality using DBT Models, Power BI, and Tableau.

The mission aimed to work with the IT unit, Admin unit, HR unit, and any concerned person to implement and release new from the SMS application using Microsoft Visual Studio Dot Net and Microsoft SQL Server Database “SIMS Application Iraq Country office” analysis, development and testing, implementation, documentation, and evaluation. A systems development life cycle is composed of several clearly defined and distinct work processes Travel model, staff onboarding/release model, integration with previous system model, integration with Active Directory model, Application Log model, and reporting model using Tableau.
- RBC SNAP Mission to Amman, Jordan April 1-5, 2018
RBC SNAP team has already initiated a handover of SNAP platform support since mid-2017, however, there was a lack of capacity to absorb the work in RBC. With the agreement of the IT RBC unit, an IT Solutions Associate is going to support, debug and further develop SNAP platform. At the same time, SISMod models for Kyrgyz and Egypt were updated and these changes need to be translated into the platform. Therefore, the mission will have 3 main objectives:
o Translated the STATA code of SISMod for Kyrgyz and Egypt into the SNAP platform PHP language with the support of a stand partner organization.
o Handover of IT support of the SNAP platform to RBC IT Solutions Associate.
o Address bugs and code and security issues listed and agree on tasks and timeframe related to debugging
TDY
• Understand the business rules for programme activities in the country office, document business logic and data mapping rules.
• Ensure secure and timely ingestion of beneficiary datasets into the central database.
• Maintain beneficiary datasets to ensure that information is organised, updated and readily available as needed.
• Check the data for accuracy, consistency, authenticity and relevance with programme requirements.
• Work with partners to ensure the timely and effective execution of programme activities involving beneficiary data and lists.
• Implement business rules for cleaning, de-duplicating, cross-checking and preparing beneficiary lists.
• Provide direct technical assistance to WFP staff, partners and government as needed for overall better management of beneficiary data.
• Prepare clear technical systems documentation for developed IT solutions in order to facilitate IT systems development and maintenance.
• Contribute to the preparation of materials and the delivery of trainings on automated business processes to ensure efficient and effective use of IT systems
• Present analytical results to business stakeholders, CO management and government
• Perform other duties as required.
• DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
• Setup of secure transfer and storage processes for beneficiary data.
• Documentation of business rules applied to beneficiary data for programmes.
• Greater assurance in terms of the management of data across all programme activities in the country office (CBT, M&E, Hotmeals etc.)
• Centralisation and integration of data to enable analytics and business intelligence.
• Effective and timely preparation of data outputs needed for each CBT assistance cycle.
