Sr. management Engineer for O&M at Marafiq - suar operation & maintenance

Operations:
 Carry out daily meeting for planning and maintenance and engineering to review, discuss and explore alternative to resolve chronic and repeat problems on equipment and auxiliaries.
 Review Shift Supervisor log book, notification orders and readings of parameter trends, evaluate and trouble shoot the problems and coordinate with other functions to resolve such problem areas.
 Coordinate and discuss with Engineering Department to advice solutions to enhance the efficiency and performance of the units.
 Prepare technical & statistical reports as needed by Superintendent.
 Coordinate with other department such as engineering, reliability, and procurement to prepare equipment live assessment.
 Prepare equipment criticality list based on criteria that shall be prepared and accepted by operation and other departments.
 Predict problem solving technique.
 Prepare all require TSR based on case study.
 Coordinate with Operations Supervisors, Planning and Maintenance Engineers for the scheduling of any outage for preventive maintenance of major equipment that may result in production loss or restriction of operation.
Shut-Down and Start-Up
 Prioritize equipment shutdown criteria and share it with Superintendent.
 Review plans for shut-downs - Perform the Inspections of the Water Service for Annual Overhaul in coordination with Maintenance.
 Witness, in person, the testing and commissioning of the equipment post shut down to ensure that all maintenance work has been done effectively.
 Coordinate with other support department during shutdown to control the area and avoid overflow.
Readiness & Safety of Plant
 Tour all plant premises, daily, in order to ascertain readiness of plant equipment and auxiliaries to continue in an operating mode, to assure no plant leaks and any other conditions that endanger plant personnel and assets.
Emergency Response:
 Respond immediately to emergencies, including fires, overflow, to mitigate and rescue Plant equipment and/or personnel during emergency situations and ensure area protected environmentally.
On the Job Training
 Oversee on-the-job training activities in the department and ensure that all training and development plans are executed in timely manner.
Planning and Efficiency
 Oversee preparation of department plans, budget and performance reports.
 Prepare shot term repair plan and long term repair plan of equipment maintenance in coordination with maintenance team.
Direction of Subordinates:
 Organise and supervise the activities to ensure that all work within a specific area of Water Services is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
Cost Control:
 Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
 Control overtime and manpower utilization within department and evaluate any activities that require additional time to complete before.
Policies & Procedures:
 Develop standard operating procedures for the Water Services and its auxiliaries.
 Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of Water Production so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
 Ensure company policy been followed and orgies all related requirement accordingly such as vacation, short leaves and training.
Safety, Quality & Environment:
 Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of Water Services to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
 Ensure all KPI safety requirement are fulfil.
