Field implementation of SD&HSE policies.

Most of my job responsibilities are:
Meeting the production targets by safe and smooth plant operation with optimized plant conditions and energy efficiency
Presenting the daily and monthly production report of unit to higher management
Providing leadership to operating team for continual improvement in operational excellence by developing and implementing systems and procedures
Coordinating with other departments and higher management of refinery to achieve the health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) objectives of the unit
Monitoring implementation of work permit procedures and good house-keeping
Diagnosing plant problems by applying various techniques like Statistical/Regression Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Power Spectral Analysis.
Managing the inventories of chemicals/consumables and ensuring that employees are trained for its safe handling and usage
Preparation of capital and revenue budgets of area. Monitoring budget results and taking necessary actions.
Training and mentoring of unit shift supervisors and their teams and ensuring latest versions of documents are available and understood by the staff
Investigation of HSEQ related incidents and giving recommendations to avoid recurrence
Job safety analysis of critical maintenance jobs.
Technical review and HAZOP study of plant modifications
Conducting HSE improvement audits of all process areas in refinery and identification of problematic areas.
Implementation of Process Safety Management of unit and managing SIS
Implementation of refinery Emergency Response Plan and managing the emergency response team
Occupational health, safety and environmental aspect and impact control in all phases of plant activities under ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 framework.
