 Principal Electrical-Engineer in GE Power with 13 years of experience in developing electrical systems and equipment in EPC organizations (with International Project Experience).

 Working knowledge of IEDs, PLC, RTU, Data concentrators, numerical relays, Communication protocols.
 Adaptability to work with EPC organization demand sometimes as a lead engineer role, sometimes as key responsible engineer or as proposal engineering lead.
 Well acquainted with International standards like ANSI/IEEE, IEC, NEC, BS, IS etc.
 Discipline Development Activity- Standardization of Specification, Data Sheet, Design Guides, Check List.

 Handling the resources in the group, assigning, monitoring and checking the jobs, utilizing contractor manpower resources to execute Projects followed by handling queries from Manufacturing till dispatch.
 Delivering Technical Presentations as an internal trainer, Discussing Design/Engineering related Subjects and analyzing Design Errors in group on a regular basis.

Engineer for Switchgear & Protection (Electrical).
• Study of Customer and Consultant specification and understanding the Final Requirements.
• Meeting with customers and understanding his Requirements & Constraints. Resolving the technical issues.
• Evaluating techno-commercial offers for different equipment & services based on project/equipment specification as defined in contract document.
• Design and Engineering of Switchboard (MCC, PCC, PMCC, ACDB etc.).
• Handling the resources in the group, assigning, monitoring and checking the jobs.
• Man-hour estimation.
• Trouble shooting in case of any problems encountered during manufacturing or site.
• Coordination with the vendors for meeting the time schedule.
• Deliver all the documents as per the time schedule with proper checking.
• Preparation of Master list of drawings and documents with engineering schedule and inputs required to achieve the schedule
• Indenting critical items, like protection relays (conventional as well as numerical), Circuit breaker etc.
• Standardization of Documents to optimize the engineering.
• Final Documentation and as built.

Switchgear Engineering:
Study of Customer and Consultant specification and understanding the Final Requirements.
Meeting with customers and understanding his Requirements & Constraints. Resolving the technical issues.
Preparation of overall & detailed single line diagram.
Preparation of material requisition/purchase requisition/technical bid evaluation.
Preparation of Power and Control Schematics considering both Technical Requirement and Cost for the following applications.
 Automatic Source change-over with/without momentary paralleling, using hardwired or Advanced Numerical Relays.
 Protective setting for MV/LV switch-gear (Breaker/ Relay setting).
 Variety of control schemes required for motors in various applications viz DOL, RDOL, Star-Delta, Heavy Starting, Twin Motors, Variable-Speed Drive, Soft starters etc.
