• Carry out scheduled testing, calibration, electrical safety checks, repair and maintenance of Electro- medical equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electronics equipment, and related systems; Assures correct operation of same per manufacturer's specifications, as appropriate/assigned; Informs end-use of equipment repair status.
• Plans and ensures the orderly, safe, and satisfactory installation of electro-medical equipment through coordination with vendors, manufacturers, and end-users.
• Responds immediately to user requests/complaints to analyze and correct reported medical equipment failures.
• All documentation includes inventory, Technical Comparison, Daily rounds report, Incident reports, BOQ, PO, Defect reports, PPM plan, logbook, reports, CMMS, email communication with vendor and official, Documents PM and repair service events, equipment tags, PR, Checklist of PPM and inspection.
• Documents all service events in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database to ensure the history of preventative maintenance and repairs of each medical device.
• Training end users & clinical staff on how to use & operate biomedical equipment, safely and effectively.
• Assures that the hospital equipment plan and equipment management plan are followed and equipment is compliant with regulatory standards as governed by federal, state, and local agencies.
• Assist Team lead/ Manager in different activities like, quality improvement, incident investigation, patient safety, budget and device risk assessment.
• Experience with safety and essential performance of medical electrical equipment (IEC 60601 & 62353)
• Hands-on experience with the use of biomedical test tools (TMDE).
• Additional Charge: Responsible person for Calibration and new induction of biomedical test tool and analyzer through local agencies and abroad through 3rd party. Additional responsibility directly reports to Manager.
