Reporting to the Engineering Manager my responsibilities are to supervise a team of field engineers responsible for the commissioning & hand over activities of the PLCs, RTUs & SCADA system supplied for the Jurassic Park Field Wells.
• Effective communication with Customer and other vendors.
• Managing Customer as well as other Stakeholder expectations.
• Performing resource management, forecast planning, efficiency monitoring & control.
• Commissioning of Rockwell FT based SCADA system which also includes GE PAC8000 based field RTU & HIMA Safety PLC.
• Configuration of Cisco L2 & L3 switches as well as MOXA Industrial switches, Kepware OPC data servers.
• Cause & Effect validation of Safety System installed on the wellheads.

Reported to the ABB Project Manager as well as the SHELL Operations Supervisor, with responsibility of installation, commissioning,
maintenance & operational support of ABB 800xA Distributed Control System installed across all the assets of QCLNG upstream project.
Working from installation phase through to functional testing and subsequent execution of project life cycle management to client
handover thereafter.
• Performed ICSS IFAT & SAT for all QCLNG upstream facilities.
• Actively participated in Design Review, Walkthrough, HAZOP, SIL determination & verification based on IEC 61850.
• Commissioned all aspects of the Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS); including but not limited to the Basic Process Control
System (BPCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Fire & Gas System (F&GS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD).
• Ensured all safe work practices are being followed and safety of personnel, plant and environment is not compromised at any time.
• Worked with vendors, external consultants and EPC contractors for the Design, Construction and testing, commissioning, start up
and handover activities.
• Demonstrated experience with Management of Change (MOCs), P&IDs, TQs, NCRs, RFIs, Red lines.
• Assisted Field engineering & completions with maintenance of accurate records i.e. as-built mark-ups, punch lists.
• Performed inspections and verifications in accordance with the approved Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Successfully completed the SIF Cause & Effect testing with hands on experience of ABB 800xA DCS, AC800M PCS and SIS HI
Logic Solvers.
• Successfully completed the Modbus/Profibus Serial Link configuration/ Testing between ABB and Allen Bradley Control Logix
along with the configuration and functional testing of Honeywell Wellhead RTUs for the gas gathering network.
• Performed PM checks as well as scheduled shutdown activities and recorded them in CMMS.

Reported to the E&I Manager as well as the Mill Services Manager, with responsibility of managing Electrical / Instrumentation projects
from design to start-up as well as leading a team of technicians performing all sorts of preventive and predictive E&I maintenance
activities across the whole plant.

• Successfully led a team of technicians responsible for installation, function testing & commissioning of all sorts of field instruments,
LV motors, VFDs (ABB, SIEMENS, Danfoss), Valves and other Electrical & Pneumatic systems.
• Finalized all project related E&I drawings, P&IDs, GAs, SLDs and other documentation supplied by our project design firms.
• Managed automation related capital and non-capital engineering projects in accordance with the company systems, procedures and
budgetary requirements.
• Managed to complete various in-house instrumentation & control system modification/ upgradation projects while remaining
within scope, time, cost and quality constraints.
• Worked as TPM Facilitator and devised methods and techniques to implement Kaizens which greatly helped in the improvement of
plant availability and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Successfully developed the Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance plans and supervised all sorts of maintenance activities which
enabled me to minimize the maintenance cost.
• Implemented efficient Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques which greatly helped in minimizing the overall downtime and thus
improving productivity.
• Developed plans and organized training for my subordinates which were necessary for them to perform their daily activities.
• Ensured to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all the workers and increased the awareness towards safety and Zero
Harm attitude which enabled me to develop a team with a track record of Nil LTI.
• Supervised contractors/vendors and ensured their compliance to contractual and legislative obligations.
• Established and maintained the minimum E&I spares inventory level by procurement & effective coordination with third party
vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
