• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for MEP components, Civil, and fit-out works.
• Creating and managing budgets for MEP works.
• Perform procurement process by preparing tender documents, conducting vendor evaluations, and
participating in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best deals for materials
and services.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to suggest value engineering.
• Prepare backup calculations and supporting drawings for preparing Variations and assist Sr. QS in
finalizing the submission of Variations/Proposals to the Consultant.
• Evaluating the Work progress in preparation of the Monthly Payment application to the Consultant.
• Review and assess work progress on-site, ensuring that payments to subcontractors and suppliers are
accurate and aligned with the actual work completed.
• Identify potential risks associated with MEP works and implement strategies to mitigate these risks
effectively.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all MEP-related costs, contracts, and variations for future
reference.
• Prepare final accounts.
• Cost Planning and estimating (NRM1).
• Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, and risk management.
• Bills of Quantities production (POMI and CESSM3).
• Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiations, and recommendations.
• Contract Draft and Review (FIDIC).
• Managing contractual and commercial correspondence.
• Supports for all commercial and contractual issues.
• Management of bonds, insurance, and guarantee logs.
• Interim valuations and payment certificates.
• Variations analysis, recommendations, and management.
• Assist in the preparation of claims.
• Risk and value management and cost control functions.
• Preparation of progress/ cost reports.
• Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.
• Support for all other contractual and commercial duties.
• Reporting to the Commercial Manager on all commercial issues.
