I am working as a Senior Research Assistant in Kuwait University Nano Technology Research Facility.
Responsibility:
1. Main operator of Auto-nulling Spectroscopic Imaging Ellipsometer (Characterization of thin film’s Optical properties and Thickness)
2. Main operator of Nanoindenter (Characterization of thin film’s Elastic properties)
3. Secondary Operator for AFM (Atomic-force microscopy) (Topography 2D and 3D images of the sample and roughness of it)
1. Subject Taught: Physics (High School-11th and 12th Std.)
2. Effectively handled the practical class (high School -11th and 12th Std.)
* Ph. D from Sardar Patel University in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics (My Thesis is largely focused on Density Functional Theory and conventional way techniques to study Solids, its entitled by, “First Principles Study of Structural, Vibrational and Thermodynamic Properties of Carbides, Nitrides and Oxides of several Elements”) * M. Phil from Sardar Patel University in year 2011 with First Class. * M. Sc in Physics from Sardar Patel University in year 2010 with Distinction. * B. Sc from J & J College of Science, Gujarat University in year 2008 with Distinction. * S. S.C. and H. S. C. from Gujarat Board in year 2003 and 2005 respectively with First Class. Achievements: * Awarded with Meritorious Research Fellowship under “UGC Research Fellowship for Meritorious Students”. * Attending many seminars, workshop and conferences. * 2nd Prize in Poster presentation on “Crystallography” organized by Sardar Patel University. Extra Efficiency: I have participated in the Summer School Program-2009 conducted by INSTITUTE FOR PLASMA RESEARCH during the period of June 1st - July 10 th, 2009.
