Responsibilities related Procurement / Supply Chain:
1. Plan, Developing and Implementing the Overall Supply Chain Strategy that increases efficiency of the
Materials Sourcing & Procurement.
2. Acting as the liaison between Operations, Planning Teams and Vendors to ensure orders are accurate and
on-time delivery is met.
3. Collaborating with leadership to identify, analyze, and resolve potential supply chain gaps or changes that
may impact manufacturing materials requirements and demands.
4. Keeping the detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand
the procurement & logistics perspective.
5. Collaborating with other departments (Operations, Production, Planning and Finance) to identify
vulnerabilities and close operational gaps.
6. Assessing and adopting Ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters,
specifications and costs.
7. Monitoring of production schedules, coordinating the Operations & Planning Dept. across the divisions to
ensure conformity to delivery schedules.
8. Continues Liaison and negotiations with suppliers, stockists and manufacturers.
9. Providing strategic team support to the dept. staff to ensure on time delivery of materials in the
manufacturing facilities and to meet project delivery timeline.
10. Attaining efficient ways through identifying cost reduction opportunities and executing to achieve cost
reduction goals.
11. Devising methods and SOPs to achieve effective and efficient movement of materials and finished goods
while maintaining minimum inventory investment.
12. Taking care & handling of Vendor Invoices against Orders/ Supplies, Invoice Park & Posting, GRNs, Vendor payable
& advances, LC Advances and TT Payments etc.
Responsibilities as Project Coordinator:
1. Organizing/ Managing Project launching, execution, monitoring & control after award of contract.
2. Maintaining the Project Schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving project
problems and delays.
3. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information; recommending actions.
4. Preparation of “material requirement plan”, liaison with procurement department, expedition of procured material. Preparation of “delivery schedule” keeping in view vendor & lead time constraints.
5. Coordinate among the Team Leads / In-Charges of Project Management, Production, Commercial, Proposals for smooth execution and expedition of jobs being executed by removing all obstructions, eliminating communication gaps.
6. Continuous Monitoring and Engineering Support Services for On-going Projects till Completion of Job.
7. Keeping the management updated about projects progress through generation of periodic reports for management review.
9. Analysing & Supervising Projects and solving deficiencies in Production.
Responsibilities related Proposals & Business Development:
1. To Entertain and Review Client RFQs, Inquiries and ITB Documents.
2. Preparing Estimation & Budget Costing for evaluation of required Man hours, Consumables & Material resources corresponding to Scope of Work.
3. Reviewing of Enquiry Documentation & liaise with Clients to get the Queries Clarification and record all Commercial and Technical Feedback received.
4. Conducting the Site Visit for better understanding of required Enquiry and to incorporate realistic inputs in the Proposal.
5. Keeping a continuous liaison with Material Procurement Dept. for Project Execution with optimum use of resources through leadership and commitment.
6. Working closely with Global Commercial & Business Development personnel; building close relationships internally and externally to develop Opportunities.
1. Mechanical Detailed Drawings Study and Preparation of BOQ.
2. Supervision of Fabrication activities as per Standard and Design.
3. Review and Study of Quality Procedures, Reports and Documents.
4. Assessment of Risk and Identification of Hazard in Work Field.
5. HSE Field/ Site Inspection/ Supervision incl. Safety Controls and Measures.
6. Safety Monitoring for Workforce working at Height, Scaffolding, Confined Space Entry, Crane Operations.
Major in Supply Chain & Logistics, Project Management, Strategy Management, Operational and Total Quality Management
BSc. (Hons.) Engineering Degree in Metallurgical & Material Sciences.
