Responsibilities
- Checking WPS, PQR, welder qualification & renewal of records.
- Inspecting welds for visual defects, getting defects
repaired, and releasing for blasting & painting.
- Verify and review ITP, WTP, and Weld visual inspection
-records for each fabricated & welded item.
-To ensure NDT requirements are fulfilled as per ITP &project requirements.
-Witness all lab tests for row material.
Achievements :
- I introduced a new strict checklist for (fit -
up)stage valid for the most complicated
geometry like (Marsa-Alarab) project
which can minimize any human
confusion for checking and guarantee
high quality.
- I introduced a new strict checklist for
welding visual stage which clarify all
weld defects, reasons, and required
repair which helps more for better
quality of the inspection.
- I introduced a list of the most common
mistakes in fabrication - welding- painting stages with references in
relative national codes, solutions as
well.
Responsibilities:
-Reviewing the Proposed Design Criteria.
-Reviewing Modeling Reliability.
- Reviewing Design due to Conventional loads.
-Reviewing Structural Drawings at all design
stages.
- Attending meetings with authorities until
obtaining the approvals.
Achievements :
I introduced a new procedure for design
check stages start from the study of a project
specification till extracting shop drawings
for minimizing any mistakes or missing
data or miss-coordination.

checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
supervising contracted staff

providing technical advice and solving problems on site
preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
