To fulfill this role, I regularly check that accounting procedures are being followed correctly, and I provide assistance, advice, and training to agents general or insurance brokers who require it. I also have a responsibility to control treasury and cash flow amounts, as well as to monitor the accounting activities of agencies and offices of mutual without intermediate.
In the event of potential malfunctions or errors in accounting, I investigate the origin of the problem, make corrections, and take necessary measures to ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements. This may involve carrying out accounting controls and writing reports or providing assistance and training to agents general or insurance brokers.
Furthermore, I facilitate training sessions to assist with specific accounting issues such as internship appointments or regulatory and tax developments. I also provide on-site assistance and training to agents general as required.
Overall, my role as a subscriber group insurance expert in accounting is to ensure that all accounting procedures are adhered to, and any issues are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly to maintain the financial integrity of the insurance company or brokerage.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

cash receipts
general ledger
payroll and utilities
treasury, budgeting
cash forecasting
revenue and expenditure variance analysis
capital assets reconciliations
trust account statement reconciliations,
check runs
fixed asset activity
debt activity
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Provide recommendations
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Meet financial accounting objectives
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
Completing purchase orders
Managing payroll
Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team
Assisting with budgets
Completing bank reconciliations
