Job Describtion:
Review electrical contract’s design drawings, Technical specifications & Contract’s documents.
 Review and approve shop drawings, breakdown list of BOQ, Time schedule program and Method Statement submitted by the contractors and subcontractors.
 Review and approve electrical materials submittals such as 22-11/0.4 KV Substations, 22-11 KV cables, LV cables, Feeder Pillars 400V, Lighting Control Cabinets(LCC), Hot Dip Galvanized Poles heights of 12, 14, 20 Meters & it’s accessories, LED Street Lighting Luminaires, earthing System, Cables Joints, other electrical materials & survey drawings.
 Liaise & Raise regular reports to line manager with regard to works activities on sites and its progress, constraints on sites and how it is resolved in time, Materials, shop drawings and staff with proposals and recommendations.
 Join and attend the Weekly and monthly progress meetings with Client, Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers representatives.
 Review and approve daily, Weekly and monthly progress reports submitted by the contractors and subcontractors.
 Liaise, Communicate and coordinate with team of engineers, inspectors, main contractor, subcontractor and suppliers to execute works activities and handing over for inspection at time to avoid any delay.
 Oversee and follow up site staff including engineers, inspectors in order to carry out whole works activities on sites according to project base line and time schedule program approved by client.
 Monitor and implement the works on sites in accordance with QA/QC company policy and coordinate with QA/QC manager to execute a trade in high quality and adherence of contractor and subcontractors to submit the executed works at time for inspection & deliveries.
 Follow up & manage all works activities in accordance with HSE policy and approved procedures.
 Review and approve contractor’s monthly payment according to executed works and stored materials on site.
 Prepare correspondences to line manager, client, contractor, subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities.
 Liaise and coordinate with local authorities engineers in order to obtain NOCs within execution of projects works and issuance of Building & I infrastructure Ending Certificates.
 Review, approve and witness the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) & Sites Acceptance Test (SAT) as well as approve and approve a third party (if any) for testing and commissioning.
 Review, study and recommend any claims (if any) submitted by the contractor to line manager for review and approval by him and client.
 Liaise & follow up Electricity, Water, Civil defense, Telecommunication, Drainage and others departments to obtain their approval and provide permanent services to the projects.
 Liaise and coordinate with project manager to primary handing over of the project and issuance of Professional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) and release Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) upon final handing over of the project.

Job Description.
 Review contract’s design drawings, technical specifications & Contract’s documents including voltage drop verification.
 Review and approve on relevant Technical submittals, as per RFA such as Method statements, inspection requests, materials inspection requests, shop drawings and As-built drawing.
 Review and approval electrical materials submittals with samples submitted by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
 Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
 Interview and approve subcontractors and ensure that their profiles according to contract’s requirement as well as their documents and licenses in accordance local authorities regulations.
 Coordination of all electrical services with other disciplines. Instruct engineers, inspectors and follow up daily sites reports, prepare portion of the daily, weekly reports and giving relevant input to the monthly report.

 Join project managers/ Resident engineers to handing over of the projects and issuance of Professional Acceptance Certificates (PAC) and release Final Acceptance Certificates (FAC) upon final handing over of the projects.

 Review and approve electrical and low current systems shop drawings.
 Review and preliminary approve electrical materials submittals.
 Member of commission for accreditation of electrical materials submittals in PWD.
 Design review of electrical drawings submitted by Consultants and Contractors.
 Preparation of handing over certificates of projects sites to contractors.
 Prepare correspondences to line manager for approval which are addressed to contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities.
 Interview and approve electrical subcontractors. Ensure their staff, profile, experience and licenses in accordance with PWD requirement and ADDC regulations.
 Oversee all electrical works and handing over of works inspection requests submitted by the contractor. Ensure the executed works had been done according to approved shop drawings, contract specifications, approved electrical materials and ADDC and others local authorities regulations.
 Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings.
 Review and approve weekly and monthly progress reports submitted by the contractor. Ensure the works progress had been done in accordance with approved time schedule program.
 Review and approve contractor’s monthly payments.
 Liaise and coordinate with local authority’s engineers such as ADDC, Telecommunication, Civil Defense and others departments in order to obtain the approval of shop drawings and provide permanent services for projects.
 Join and witness testing and commissioning of major electrical systems.
 Participation in committees of preliminary handing over of the projects (PAC) & final handing over of the projects (FAC).
 Evolution & estimation of the cost & time variations works submitted by contractors.
 Follow up the projects maintenance during warranty period according to contract’s documents.
 Review and approve the final payments of the contractors.

A) 57KM 33 KV distribution overhead line between Dhamar and Rada’a Towns including 5MW 33/0.380 KV Substation, pole mounted step down distribution transformers system of 33/0.380 KV, wooden poles heights 12 and 14 meters with its accessories, LV Cabinets, Protection systems, earthing and stays systems.
B) Approximately 122 KM 11 KV & 6.5 KV overhead distribution lines in different areas in Al- Baida Province including pole mounted transformers system of 11/.0380 KV and 6.5/.220 KV, LV Panels, protection system, earthing and stays systems.
C) Low voltage network 380V and 220V of different cables sizes120, 70, 50, 25, 16, 10 mm2 which supplied 115 villages almost 8500 customers in Al- Baida Province.
D) Tow power Diesal Stations 4MW Each in Al Baida Province
