Site Supervision of the Construction of Pre-stressed Concrete Strategic Water Reservoirs in Al Faysaliah & Steel Strategic Water Reservoirs in Jeddah City
CLEINT: NWC National Water Company.
Two groups of tanks with a total capacity of 2, 000, 000 m3, will store and supply water to Jeddah. Located in Faisaliyah and Briman, in the Jeddah urban area, the projects include buildings, infrastructure systems, pumping stations and lines connected to Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and NWC lines.

Accountabilities:
To collaborate closely with the Projects manager and assume responsibilities of managing daily activities related to QA/QC, directing operations and supervising staff when required in order to assist in actualizing project goals and objectives.
Being a part of management team, incumbently also holds the responsibility to assist in the setting, implementing, monitoring, and reporting of all required management reports and KPIs for the Area in accordance to the program’s procedures.
Holding the responsibility for ensuring that all Quality of works are executed in accordance to the client’s requirements to the highest standard through the management of a team of Engineers and Inspectors.
Attending regular meetings with contractor to ensure the progress on site activities meets the requirements of the construction program
Manage the site supervision team to ensure that the progress of the work meets the milestones of the project.
Establishing supervision procedures for the team and monitor during the life cycle of the project
Ensuring full coordination between all other disciplines of the supervision team and contractor
Monitoring and review of the team performance, and control team resources and report to the projects manager.
Implementation of communication procedures and correspondence between supervision team.
Collect all information from all disciplines and makes a summary and report to the projects manager
Highlight and make recommendations of all the obstacles on site related to (Team, project, performance, resources) to area manager for action
Assist in the preparation of the weekly & monthly reports and project status with respect to the project base lines.

The Area divided in to four Projects Package 1, Package 2, (DCP District Cooling Plant), and Auxiliary.

Accountabilities:
Daily administrative management of the department staff (all QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors)
The Day to Day monitoring and maintenance of PQP and specs as per ISO 9001:2008
Provide inputs, estimates for QA/QC equipment and facilities, man-hour estimates and staffing recommendations, as appropriate for pre-qualification and tender purpose.
Interact with the project sites and departments in Quality requirements and it conformance.
Implement the internal audit process for the system as.
Ensure that the company system is regularly reviewed for its continuing effectiveness and that adherence to procedures is assessed by means of planned and independent internal audits.
Frequent communication with the certification and governmental bodies regarding the Quality requirements.
Review and monitor the KPI established for every activity
Report to the area management and corporate QHSE manager the status of the QMS management system.
Provide advice, guidance and training on Quality matters within the company and where appropriate within individual projects.
Coordinate with the consultants employed by company for any of the concerns.
Attend training and seminars related to Quality
Lead Corrective/ Preventive action process on NCR trends and customer complaints.
Raising of non-conformity reports (NCR) and quality Observation report (QOR) Quality surveillance report (QSR) whenever Job work does not confirm to concerned drawings/Specification and site clarification report.
follow up for look ahead plans and Attending weekly QMS meeting with all the concerned construction managers and QC Manager of sub-contractors to discuss the Quality issues of the last week and make the Completion target in Quality manner
Committed to company HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative offices.

It’s a mega project of around 400 km track traveling with speed 320 km/h from Madina Munawara to Makkah Mukarama with four stops and four stations including Rabiq and Jeddah.

Accountabilities:
Preparing and following ITP & MS (Method Statement) which includes Scope of work, Purpose, Abbreviations, References; Responsibilities, Safety and Procedures e.g. Handling & Storage of material, Equipment’s & Tools required, Preparations, Installation and Inspections.
Review of IFC drawings, approval status, Material availability along with MTC
Fallowing all procedures of quality control works as per Standards and project specifications
Material Inspection of all mechanical works like HVAC, PLUMBING, FIRE FIGHTING comply with the approved MSS (Material Submittal Sheet)
Inspection, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning inspection of all mechanical works like HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and verifying the compliance of the works with the project specifications and approved execution drawings
Clearing the NCR issues with consultants after finishing the work by complying project specifications and standards.
Monitoring the sub-contractors for the quality and progress of the work to complete the project in dead line timing
Ensures that the completed site work conforms with the technical specification, drawings, and satisfy the functioning
Preparing RFI’s for the completion of the work for client
Monitoring the installation of chillers, pump’s and A.H.U’s to assure the quality and progressive installation.
Maintain all QA and QC documents legible (e.g. complete, updated and approved).
Monitor the QA (Quality Assurance) for various activities at site e.g. document controller, stores, to verify its compliance to the company policies and procedures.
