Claims Controller at Gulf Union Insurance and RE-Insurance

As for my Duties and Responsibilities as a claim controller :


1) To check the accuracy of the Claims settlement and that it is within the approved authority limits of the company.

2) To identify Claims files from the reported bordereau and ensure that the initial reserve calculation is entered in the system .


3) To insure that the XOL claims are reported on timely basis and accurately to reinsurance.

4) To coordinate with compliance matures as requirements to insure the compliance of with the regulator of insurance (CBB- in the Kingdom of Bahrain ) .
5) To insure that a quarterly and annual review of all outstanding claims is carried out by the claims staff and the results of the review are updated in the system .

6) To review the Motor claims settlements and insure that they are accordance to the company policies and procedures.


7) To insure that proper settlements documentation is available in the files before settling the claim .

8) To review the out come of the negotiation with claimants and results of the negotiations are conducted in accordance with company, s policies and procedures .


9) To insure that timely advice is given by operational staff to the External lawyers for settlements and appeals .

10) To insure that personal recovery claims are being followed for speedy recovery .


11) To review the claims files in order to ascertain correct provisions are made in the Bordereaux .

12) To insure the review of long outstanding claims files and their progress to Management time to time .



And other Duties in Legal consulting and compliance :

To review all the Company, s internal policies and Operations/ Monitoring Organization to insure that they are all in Compliance with all applicable Legislations and regulations of the (operations location countries) .

Implementation and documentation of the Corporate Governance, ( CBB/SAMA) guidelines, the requirements of High Level Controls of the GCC regulators .
Labor law, labor cases .

Management and review to All the cases related to Insurance claims .
Follow -Up to all Documents related to all legal proceedings in coordination with the company Legal counsel, and insuring that Appropriate responses are taken in Timely manner .

Credit resk M and control unit at Housing Bank for Trad and Finance

As for my Banking Experience :

1) More than 14 years in Credit facilities, personal Loans, housing Loans, small and Medal companies finance and Credit .

2) All required Credit studies and Feasibility of the financing needs for Individual Institutions, and small Enterprises.


3) As part of Credit Risks management and Control unit, I use to review the Credit and Loans files .

4) To insure that all Credit approvals are made within the authority of the Banks Departments and branches.


5) To insure proper documentation are for all credit files and approvals as required .

6) To insure the process of assessing the Collateral against Loans granted sufficient.


7) To monitor the Financial variables throw the Cash flow and credit indicators.
8) Intensive Monitoring for the financial behavior of Management .

9) To Study the distribution of power in the companies and it, s impact on institutional Control .


10) To insure that TOTAL Quality Management on all Credit procedures are meet.
