UEP Iraq is a subsidiary of the United Energy Pakistan Limited (UEPL), the largest foreign oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company in Pakistan and part of United Energy Group Limited (UEGL), China, a listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and has operations and offices in China, Pakistan, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq and Egypt.

UEP’s history dates back more than four decades, (formerly Union Texas Pakistan & British Petroleum (BP) Pakistan). In 2011, UEG acquired control of this asset from BP and backed by UEG’s technical and financial support, UEP has emerged as the leading foreign producer and investor in Pakistan’s upstream oil and gas sector.

My role involves establishing, leading, and driving the TA function for the MENA region from scratch, primarily for operations in Iraq, Kuwait, Egypt and other GCC countries.

I work closely with the Leadership Team to understand & develop the workforce plans, develop & execute global recruitment strategies to attract the best talents in the market (regionally and globally). Managing & delivering Recruitment projects focusing on the Upstream Oil & Gas Exploration and Production (E&P), EPCC related talent sourcing for Technical functions like Well Services, Subsurface Facilities, Surface Facilities, O&M, General Services and Support Services like, HR, Administration, Finance, IT, HSE, Safety & Security, Logistics, Procurement. As well as stakeholders managements with the organization and at group level. Also, involved in implementation of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) - SAP SuccessFactors.
