This is an extremely important function, since it is a front line job whereby the CSO’ and Tellers are in direct customer contact and execute large number of transaction on a daily basis. These are brought over by all sort of customers i.e.; transactions belong to the Corporate Banking, Branch Customers, Personal Banking as well as the IPB clients. It is absolutely imperative that staff in this position executes all transactions in a well trained manner and have all the skills to deliver great service to these customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
•Handling Customer and daily branch banking transactions
•Handling ATM cash calls after working hours
•Balance cash with the close of the business with cash difference
•Provide fast and efficient services to all customers
•Cash balancing with NIL error incidence
•Monitor teller position and transfer any excess cash to Head Teller as per the procedure manual
•Ensure Compliance with AIM, Policies, Procedures, Manuals, Audit and Central Bank requirements
•Issuance of demand drafts/Pay orders and posting of all In house cheques
•Arrange cash for central Bank deposit
Dealing in Foreign Currency (23 currencies)
•More than 200 transactions per shift
